In Moon Sisters Circle I encouraged everyone to express their feelings & needs and ask for what they want in their share ie. feedback, or nothing if they’re not interested, and to ask others if they're open: “Could I ask…” Emphasizing the autonomy of the individual while promoting authenticity.

Empathy practice through expressing and listening to feelings & needs is an approach of Non-Violent Communication (NVC) aka compassionate communication. As I think about peace in the world empathy seems a great place to start. I wondered, can we give something we’ve never experienced?
