Hello hello beloved,

How often do you hear this question? I’m guessing every time you meet someone new.

I sent out a survey and learned that I haven't made it obvious what I do or how to schedule an appointment with me.

And it got me thinking about a conversation with someone I met a while ago where instead of responding with what they did for work, they told me about their passions and hobbies.

I LOVE this, it is too often we become over-identified with our occupation or work title. Society puts immense pressure on work and productivity which are a bit overrated if you ask me (and personally, I am still rewriting my own “efficiency is best/important” stories).

So, I thought I would share a little bit of both with you...

Some things I do:

  • Hike in the woods and up mountains - but I’m a slow pace hiker. I like to take breaks, literally stopping to smell the flowers, look at shapes in the clouds or tiny creatures on the ground, take pictures, and picnic.
  • Dance - I’ve been dancing since I was a child. I love contra, swing (east coast), hula hoop, break dancing, waltz, salsa, aerial, ecstatic, you name it! Moving my body helps me to move through my emotions.
  • Drink tea - Okay maybe most wouldn't consider this a hobby but I am very serious about relaxing with a nice cup, solo or with friends, hosting a tea party even. One of my fave ways to nourish myself.

Other things I do:

  • hold space, lead rituals and prayer
  • host community gatherings and activities
  • encourage people to dive deeper into themselves
  • support folx as they learn to re-ground and stabilize themselves

✨ As an Energy Health Practitioner my work focuses on helping individuals find their center and balance. One way I do this is with mudras. Mudras are an ancient form of subtle energy healing that redirects the energy currents to rewire the mind-body connection using simple hand positions and breathwork. More on this in another blog post but I am the only mudra therapist in Alaska and teach this technique to my 1:1 clients.

1:1 Personalized Support is a container where you can dive deep into your well-being to restore & protect your precious energy, and emerge as the badass you really are. My biggest areas are with folx who struggle either to open up or feel grounded.
